Hi, I am Louise Weatherbee.

I am a lifestyle and wedding photographer based in Western New York. I'm 100% self taught with a sincere passion for all things photography; beautiful light, fond memories, priceless moments, candid expressions and raw emotion. While my style is constantly growing and changing with me, one thing always remains true when I look through my lens, to capture pure happiness.

I discovered my absolute love of photography at a low point in my life. You see, It took me a long time to figure out what I should do for the rest of my life. For so long I worked these corporate jobs that I never really cared about and eventually I fell prey to a deep burnout and depression in 2019. Backing up a bit.. I had always loved photography, I can even remember my first little Kodak camera I had gotten for Christmas one year when I was really little and I burned through that film so fast! Even in high school my digital camera was never far and always ready. Fast forward to when My husband gifted me my first DSLR in winter of 2020. BOOM. It seemed to hit me like a ton a bricks that THIS WAS IT. How could I have not known sooner? Gosh it was like walking right into what I was created to do and it seemed to literally pull me out of my depression. Photography keeps me constantly thinking, changing, growing, and makes me feel alive. And now I get to use that passion to tell stories, make memories and capture lifes big and small moments.

Beyond the Lens

Outside of photography I'm a wife to my very best friend, mother to the bubbliest little baby boy- you may see him featured somewhere on here!- and fur mama to a husky, two cats and two ferrets. I spend my days taking care of all of them as a stay at home mom. I love to sing and I can be quite crafty sometimes. I'm a huge fan of musicals, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and pretty much anything Disney. I love books in general- although its unknown if I like collecting or reading them more as my bookshelves pretty much are my "to read" list. I'm not picky about music, anything goes. I'm starting to think I have really unique taste with food because all my favorite snacks are always discontinued or hard to find and I never know what to eat. Don't get me wrong though, pizza is awesome.

Now that you know a little about me, I'm looking forward to getting to know you and helping to tell your story. I'm extremely down to earth so don't be shy and let's make some memories to hold on to forever!
